Underwater Landscape, 2014

The nature of a space is changed after I place an object into it and originally that object is not belongs to that space. I placed a remote control fish balloon into a university library and transformed it to a aquarium. Since the Learning Path area of the library at basement is covered by the skylight windows and the windows constructed as the pool bottom of the outdoor plaza at ground floor. So the audience can see a balloon fish “swimming” under the water when they are looking from the top of windows. At the same time, the people in the Learning Path is being placed into a underwater landscape.
